Week 4 – Players of the Week

Week 2 POTW – Jesuit’s Jake Lemon

TLR received another email asking us, “why don’t you have any players listed from xx school?” and suggested we were favoring some schools over others. We had to explain that there are 14-18 boys and girls games every day and that the three of us take in maybe 1-2 a day collectively. That means we rely heavily upon stats submitted from parents and coaches to supplement what we are able to see ourselves. There are maybe 5 or 6 coaches that are very big player advocates for their teams. We receive emails and texts after every game from these coaches making sure we know the stats for their players. Many of the other coaches either forget, don’t know, or can’t be bothered. While we’d love to have full stats from every coach after every game, it just hasn’t happened yet. We’re trying, though.

It was a slow week due to Spring Break in the area, so not many games to crunch numbers from this week.
